Arcanix RPG is an open license roleplaying game , first published in 2011, that is loosely tied to several more popular fantasy RPGs, but is at the same time a completely separate work. While the game setting and some of the mechanics may look similar to those used in other RPGs (which i deem inevitable, after more than 30 years of roleplaying culture), the system is completely new and i hope innovative in some way.
Here are the main features of this game:
I wish everyone willing to play this game all the best, that you can have a pleasant time with your friends and... just as much fun playing it as I had writing it!

We're talking about De Insolitorum Rerum Natura (On the Nature of Bizarre Things), an extensive bestiary that takes from a variety of sources, among these original medieval bestiaries!
You will find Unicorns, Trolls and of course Dragons, and many others, in an easy-to-access, quick-to-read (and use), layout.
In Liber Apparatus Belli (The Book of War Equipment) you will find expanded and detailed rules for all kinds of weapons and armours, described with historical accuracy, but with an eye towards fantasy staples. Example pricing for all kinds of stuff is included, so you have an idea of how medieval economy used to roll, back in the days.
You can find the first two supplements for Arcanix RPG, Codex Personae and Scripta Magica, on our Download page (see sidebar).
Codex Personae contains a beefy 75 real medieval professions, from the Baker, to the Woodward, to the Chantry Priest, complete with suggested Trained Actions. In addition, you'll find a table to determine randomly the age of your characters according to expected values for their class, and a brief chapter on money and starting resources.
Scripta Magica contains more than 50 example spells, with simple and evocative names and descriptions, that will serve as a guideline but will allow much freedom to both players and GM. This book is the most likely to see expansion, as new spells are discovered.
The first edition of Arcanix RPG Core Rulebook is available for download here.
Soon will follow the first Supplements to expand what's presented in the Core Rulebook.
